A two-day gathering of organisations, educators, sport professionals, project managers and changemakers
working to create lasting impact through sport, education and social innovation.

The challenge

What Remains After the Project?

Projects start. Projects end.
Every year, hundreds of European and international projects are launched across Europe.
New ideas are tested.
New partnerships are created.
New communities emerge.
But once funding ends, an important question remains:
What happens next?
At EUSport LAB 2026 we want to explore a simple idea:
The most valuable outcomes of a project are often not the activities delivered or the reports produced.
They are the relationships built, the knowledge generated and the opportunities that continue long after the project has officially finished.

Why EU Sport LAB?

Where Projects Meet People

For six editions, EUSport LAB has brought together organisations active in sport, education and international cooperation.
What started as an informal meeting among trusted partners has gradually evolved into a space for exchanging ideas, sharing experiences and building new collaborations.
The 2026 edition represents another step in that journey.
Not a traditional conference.
Not simply a dissemination event.
But an opportunity to meet the people behind the projects, discover inspiring initiatives and explore future opportunities together.

Stories of impact

How Innovation Becomes Impact

The event’s sessions will showcase some of the key areas where sport, education and social innovation can generate lasting impact.

Rather than focusing on project activities and deliverables, each session will explore broader challenges,
innovative approaches and lessons learned from real experiences implemented across Europe and beyond.

Education Through Movement & Exploration

How can movement become a tool for learning?
Innovative approaches that combine education, outdoor learning and experiential methodologies to engage children and young people both inside and outside the classroom.

Building Communities Through Sport

How can sport strengthen communities and create opportunities for belonging?
From neighbourhood initiatives to inclusive educational programmes, sport can become a catalyst for social cohesion, language learning and community development.

Leadership and Representation in Sport

How can sport organisations become more inclusive, diverse and sustainable?
A discussion on the future of leadership in sport, focusing on coaching, representation and organisational development.

From Project to Movement

How can sport organisations become more iHow can ideas continue to grow after funding ends?
Exploring sustainability, replication and long-term impact, this session will examine how projects can evolve into lasting communities, networks and movements.

More than presentations

The full programme is designed to create connections.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet organisations, discuss ideas, explore future collaborations and exchange experiences
through a variety of interactive activities.

Because meaningful collaborations rarely start on a stage.
They start through conversations.

Over the years we have contributed to dozens of international partnerships, European projects and local impact initiatives.

How can organisations move beyond individual projects and build stronger alliances capable of generating long-term impact?
EUSport LAB is one of the spaces where we explore that question together.
